Collaborative Diversity Conference | Division of Diversity and Inclusion | Missouri State University

The foundation of community is the affirmation of its citizens. As we continue to build a sense of belonging across a diversity of spaces, it is our efforts to cultivate community that will assist us in facing the challenges of bias, inequality, and systems of oppression. The city of Springfield and Missouri State University have worked diligently to address these matters by highlighting the significance of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The Collaborative Diversity Conferences (CDC) have always aimed to connect citizens and foster community by establishing a stronger link between community partners throughout the Ozarks region and beyond. As such, it is with esteemed pleasure that the Division for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Missouri State University announce this year's theme for 2023, annual “Connecting Citizens & Fostering Community."
